It’s Only Temporary

“Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed
day by day.

For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen.

For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4:16-18

Many of us are dealing with illness, loss of family members, financial challenges, marital issues, loneliness, wayward children, the government shutdown, etc.

The circumstances of life can weigh heavily on our minds and as a result we feel that our lives are in a constant turmoil. We perceive the future as uncertain when we focus on the problem instead of believing that God will deliver us, as He has promised in His Holy Word.

I would like to encourage you to start praying the moment you begin to feel anxious or worried. God loves us and in the time of our personal turbulence, He is Steadfast and Immovable.

Always keep your FOCUS on Jesus by Living a Faith-based life.

So don’t worry about these things, saying, “What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?” These things dominate the thoughts of Unbelievers. But your heavenly FATHER already knows all your needs. Seek the kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. Matthew 6:31-33 NLT

Challenge for today: Upgrade your level of faith…start believing in God regardless of the circumstances!

Prayer for today: Dear God, I know that you have always been in Control and always will be in Control of all things. Please forgive me for my doubt and unbelief in your Power. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen!
