There is no reward for sin. The prosperity of wealth provides temporary happiness and leads to minds that are anxious, depressed, and worried. Do not desire material things that can be destroyed. Strive for holiness and you will have the reward of perfect peace and joy that only comes from Jesus.

The memories of soft snow falling on my face and the attempt to capture snowflakes on my tongue still bring laughter and happiness. Yes, reflecting on a childhood experience from many decades ago, I have come to appreciate the rest and perfect beauty of the earth in its wintry season. We can enjoy the soothing calm that God intended for humanity to enjoy during the earth’s relative inactivity by changing our perspective.
