God Hears Our Cries [Podcast]

The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, And delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart And saves such as have a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all. (Psalm 34:17‭-‬19 NKJV)

Many believers are praying for the safety of those in Ukraine, and the persecuted believers in Ukraine are also praying for deliverance. Yes, we are aware that biblical prophecy is being fulfilled. Even so, God will pronounce the final judgment on the evildoers of this earth. “Do not fret because of evildoers, Nor be envious of the workers of iniquity. (2) For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, And wither as the green herb. (Psalm 37:1 NKJV).

Satan is unleashing his fury on this world. If we look at the present situation, he uses those who serve him to deliver unjust punishment, but he also destroys those who serve him. Yes, this is a wake-up call for the modern-day Laodecian believers who are not fully committed to Jesus Christ, who is coming soon. “But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. (2) For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night.” (1 Thessalonians 5:1-2 NKJV).

God’s Promises

  1. “For evildoers shall be cut off; But those who wait on the Lord, They shall inherit the earth. For yet a little while and the wicked shall be no more;
    Indeed, you will look carefully for his place, But it shall be no more.” Psalm 37:9-10.
  2. “But the salvation of the righteous is from the Lord; He is their strength in the time of trouble. 40 And the Lord shall help them and deliver them; He shall deliver them from the wicked, And save them, Because they trust in Him.” (Psalm 37:39-40).

Prayer: God, we pray for forgiveness of our sins. And we ask If it is your will that you deliver the righteous from the hands of the wicked. We pray for strength for the people in Ukraine that they will not view life as hopeless but put their faith and trust in you. Lord, help us to have an urgency in our thoughts and actions to prepare for the soon coming of your Son, Jesus. Give us the anointing of the Holy Spirit and wisdom. We thank you for our lives and your Divine intervention and protection. This prayer, we ask in the Worthy Name of Jesus. Amen.
