Lord God, we come to you this Sabbath with gratitude for giving us the wisdom and strength to accomplish our routine duties of life. Yet we feel drained from the many stressors, we faced this week. As we honor Your Sovereignty and the Holy Sabbath, we ask for spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical restoration that only You can provide. Lord, we also pray for the many Christians, who are being persecuted and tortured because they have chosen to follow Jesus. We ask that You give them strength, comfort, and hope during their time of intense suffering. Lord, help us to redirect our focus from these earthly tribulations to Your Promise in John 14:1-3. We realize that we are living in the Last Days, and in faith, we ask for the blessings of the anointing, power, and presence of the Holy Spirit. Even so, come Lord Jesus. In Jesus’ Loving and Righteous Name, we pray, Amen
