The Christian Journey is not easy. “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. / And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7).

When we have done all that we can do, whisper the words, “Jesus, help me,” and our Savior and Shepherd will answer. Thank You, Jesus, for Your Amazing Love.

The Lord’s Prayer

Prayer Guidelines: Acknowledge God’s Sovereignty; Live by His Righteous Commands and Principles; Ask God to Reveal His Will and Plans; Ask for Spiritual and Physical Nourishment; Always Ask for the Forgiveness of Sins; Tell God You Forgive Others Who Intentionally Mistreat You; Immediately Call for Jesus’ Help When Facing Temptations; Acknowledge that God is the Sovereign Ruler and Authority Over the Universe.

Our prayers should not be limited to these principles. Go to your secret place, and pray honest prayers, casting all of your burdens at the feet of Jesus.

There are many other specific needs that we have. Our Shepherd cares about every aspect of our lives. Make your prayers personal. Talk to Jesus as if He is your best friend because He is.

Lord God, we thank You for the privilege of Prayer. We thank You for the invitation to come to the Throne of Grace in our time of need. And God spiritually, we were always in need. As we redirect our faith and focus to You on this Holy Sabbath Day, we ask for the forgiveness of our sins, to cleanse us from all unrighteousness, and anoint us with the Holy Spirit. Lord, we also ask You to give us the Triple Blessings of peace, rest from the stressors of this world, and the renewal and restoration of our minds, bodies, and souls. We thank You for the gift of 24 hours, in which we can reflect on Your amazing Love and Faithfulness. We desperately need Your Divine Help to make it through this journey of life. Thank You for hearing and answering our prayer that we ask in the Worthy Name of Jesus, Amen.

Living With An Unbothered Mind When Facing Challenges

“I will answer them before they even call to Me. While they are still talking about their needs, I will go ahead and answer their prayers!” (Isaiah 65:24, NLT)

We are not alone! Jesus loves us, He died for us, and He promises, “I will never leave you or forsake you.”

Everyday, we choose to stay close to Christ and to depend on Him through the daily personal worship of Prayer and Bible Study. God has given us the Holy Spirit to be with us and to guide us.

Through the Holy Spirit, we pray and receive God’s Comfort, Strength, Direction, and Help. The Holy Spirit speaks to us in two ways, through our thoughts, and the Holy Scriptures.

The Bible is our Spiritual Handbook to knowing God’s will and making our lives easier. If you have never studied the Bible, begin with the Book of Genesis, which reveals God’s love for humanity, and the history of His Intervention when we pray for help.

“You can ask for anything in My name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father.” (John 14:13, NLT).

From studying the Bible, we learn God’s Loving and Righteous Character, and the way He resolves our challenges. Everything that God does for us brings glory and honor to His Holy Name.

How do we know God is speaking to us? He always performs miracles that human effort could never do. God desires for us to be faithful, pray, and wait on Him to resolve our challenges.

If God desires for us to do anything, He will give us instructions. The most important thing for us to do is to remain strong in our faith. We must trust God’s Sovereign Power.

God’s Promise: “You will not need to fight in this battle…stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you…Do not fear or be dismayed…for the Lord is with you.” (2 Chronicles 20: 17).

At times, Satan, our greatest enemy uses people to bring conflict and oppression into our lives. We respond with silence and immediately go to God in Prayer for help.

“Wait patiently for the LORD. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the LORD.” (Psalm 27:14, NLT).

God is never in a hurry. Using our faith, we pray, and believe that God will help us. And then we wait, wait, and wait on God. During the wait, God is testing our faith, and the ability to be obedient.

“Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?” (Jeremiah 32:27).

Tough Times? Remember God’s Faithfulness

The quote by Mary Carver reminds us to always reflect on God’s faithfulness even when times are tough.

We cannot give ourselves the beautiful joy and peace that comes from receiving the love, care, and abundant blessings from our Heavenly Father.

“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?…”

“Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?” (Matthew 6:25-26).

Remembering our past and present victories keeps our faith strong. Begin your day with a Prayer of Gratitude. Every day, Thank God for 10 things and you will never be discouraged. Our Heavenly Father Loves Us and is always Faithful. Yes and Amen!

Lord God, we just want to say Thank You for Your love and the many blessings, we receive without asking. Lord, we love You. Thank You for Your never-ending faithfulness, grace, mercies, and protection, which reminds us that we are highly valued by You. In faith and gratitude, we pray, in the Loving Name of Jesus, Amen.

Never Alone, You Are Loved

“Through all our trials, we have a never-failing Helper who says, ‘Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with loving kindness I have drawn you.I love you with an everlasting love…'” (Jeremiah 31:3).

Lord God, we desperately need Your strength as we travel through this journey of life. There are many believers who feel that You don’t love us, yet, You are who You say You are, a Righteous Refuge that we can run too, and receive help. Thank You for Your Abiding Love. We ask this prayer for help in the Worthy Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

“Then Jehoshaphat stood in the assembly of Judah and Jerusalem, in the house of the Lord…and said: ‘O Lord God of our fathers, are You not God in heaven, and do You not rule over all the kingdoms of the nations, and in Your hand is there not power and might, so that no one is able to withstand You? ‘” (2 Chronicles 20:5-6).

God’s Answer: “And he said, ‘Listen, all you of Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you, King Jehoshaphat! Thus says the Lord to you: ‘Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s'” (2 Chronicles 20:15).

“You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem! Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, for the Lord is with you” (2 Chronicles 20:17).

Yesterday, God revealed that He is Faithful, Sovereign, Powerful, and His promise to resolve, and bring completion to impossible situations is exactly what He does for the righteous who put their faith in Him.

God resolved a complex situation yesterday that brought me to my knees in awe and reverence of His Love and Power! When we place our faith and trust in our Heavenly Father and Warrior God, He gives us victory!

God brought me to a Spiritual Crossroads in which I had to decide whether or not, I would place my life, faith, and trust in His hands. I chose God by renewing my covenant of consecration to faithfully obey and trust Him.

Only trust Him! His Banner Over Us Is Love!

Lord God, Great is your Faithfulness. Thank you for being the Warrior God of today, tomorrow, and forever, who promises to protect and fight for us when we place our faith in You. Thank you for revealing your love and protection for those who run to You for help. With love and surrender, we bow our knees to your Sovereign Authority. In Jesus’ Righteous and Powerful Name, we pray, Amen.
