Should Christian believers celebrate Christmas? And how should we celebrate the holiday? What is the source of the controversy?

I have always loved the holiday season. Still, I strive to please God through obedience. Daily the Holy Spirit reminds me to “Put God First” which has resulted in a change of priorities this year. The earth is the LORD’s, and everything in it. The world and all its people belong to him. Psalm 24:1. Many believers have readily accepted the world’s love of prosperity. God’s expectation is that we are responsible stewards of the finances that He has blessed us with.

During this season, have we considered the many hungry and homeless [especially children] in our societies–due to no fault of their own, who could benefit from ongoing donations of money, toiletries, clothing, and sleeping bags? There are numerous shelters and churches that are restricted to the number of persons helped because Grant funding is limited. Yes, community of believers, we are responsible for taking care of those in need. Read Matthew 25:31-46.

Should Christian believers celebrate Christmas? Thankfully, our salvation and relationship with Jesus Christ is one-to-one. The quote “Peter pays for Paul and Paul pays for all” does not apply to redemption and salvation. Every person must answer to God for their thoughts, behaviors, and actions. Be blessed. The Reward is Yours

There is no reward for sin. The prosperity of wealth provides temporary happiness and leads to minds that are anxious, depressed, and worried. Do not desire material things that can be destroyed. Strive for holiness and you will have the reward of perfect peace and joy that only comes from Jesus.
