Give thanks to the LORD and proclaim his greatness. Let the whole world know what he has done. 1 Chronicles 16:8 NLT
There is a distinction among Christian believers that sets us apart from others-we love inspite of. We do not agree with wrong-doing; however, because of God’s love, we cultivate a Spirit of Forgiveness at all times, and under all circumstances.
The central theme of the Bible is based on love. Even in times of willful disobedience to God; His love, grace, mercy and the opportunity to repent was always given prior to the promised consequences.
Loving unconditionally is only possible when we realize that God is love. He never says, “You make it hard for me to love you.”
Reflection on the victorious times in your life, and the free gift of salvation, along with Jesus’ sacrifice of His life should foster an abundance of love and thankfulness within your heart.
Never focus on the wrongs in life, love produces forgiveness, and the urge to pray, pray, pray. When we love and stay prayerful, our minds are lifted and we view life through spiritual eyes. It is only then that we can possess a Spirit of Gratitude which pleases God. It is the highest form of worship-to be thankful. Let others know through your smile, and your joy that serving God is the greatest decision that you have ever made!
Prayer for today: Dear God: Please help us to focus on your unconditional love, your grace, and your mercy. We are asking you to give us the desire to love unconditionally under all circumstances. We realize that we have not thanked you enough for all that you have done in our lives, and for these omissions we ask forgiveness. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen!
